Morgengry - Reading Aloud for Children

In November, when darkness falls, Fanø Library turns off the electric lights, lights candles, and reads aloud to children. This happens as part of Nordic Literature Week, where libraries, schools, and institutions across the Nordic countries and the Baltic region do exactly the same thing at the same time.

Which book is read aloud is a surprise - but the author always comes from one of the Nordic countries. While it happens, thousands of children across the Nordic region listen to the same story.

The event is for children aged 5-8 and takes place in week 46.
