On August 30, Copenhagen Street Theatre Festival gathers at Den Gule Plads in Ørestad from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - and it's free for everyone.

One of the day's performances is La Baronnade by the French ensemble Les Grooms: a 45-minute musical show that plays with the boundary between stage and audience. Through improvisation and humour, the performers seek out the spectators, so the audience unexpectedly becomes part of it all. The performance is for all ages and is shown twice - 12:00-12:45 and 15:00-15:45.

There are also workshops and installations throughout the day: Stylte Signe (DK) 11-1 p.m., the installation Octapus Attack (DK) at Generationernes hus 11 a.m.-4 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can make your own hobby horse in the creative workshop with Søs from Den Lille Kunstskole.

The festival runs from August 23-30, 2026 and visits Husum, Nørrebro, Sydhavn, Valby and Ørestad. It is part of DIG - Denmark's International Street Theatre Festivals - and is free to participate in.
