The Human Library visits Sydhavnens Library on August 30 with open dialogues that challenge stereotypes about neurodiversity, disability, gender, mental health, and social status. The topics are based on the Human Books' own lived experiences.

Visitors choose which human book they want to read, and the librarians help them get started. The event takes place outdoors if weather permits.

About the venue: Sydhavnens Bibliotek

Sydhavnens Bibliotek is housed in Karens Minde Kulturhus on Wagnersvej, set in a park with animals and old trees. The collection covers books, audiobooks and digital media, and a recently added conservatory is fitted out for children and families. Year-round events include concerts, talks and communal dinners, with poetry readings at Sydhavnens Litteraturfestival and children's theatre in summer.
