Professor Henrik Stevnsborg guides visitors through the Police Museum, tracing Danish police history from its founding in 1682 to the present day.

The tour stops at the museum's collection of historical police uniforms and the permanent exhibition on the police during the German occupation - five years that tested the force in every way. The tour also covers the police's handling of critical situations in the 20th and 21st centuries: social unrest, major demonstrations, and terrorist attacks.

The guided tour itself lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Afterwards, there is about 30 minutes of free access to the Police Museum's collections.
