Internal Bleeding [US] + Support: Guttural Slug + Afdød

Internal Bleeding brings extreme metal that blends death metal and hardcore to Stengade on August 18. For nearly 30 years, the Long Island, NY-based band has been at the forefront of the extreme metal scene. They pioneered the 'slam' genre, coining the term in early 1992 to describe their brutal sound. Through six albums and numerous European and American tours, Internal Bleeding has built a reputation for intense, high-energy live shows that grip audiences and never let go.

Support comes from Danish slam pioneers Guttural Slug, who have been delivering earth-shattering brutality since 2012. Founded by Mikkel Sørensen and South American collaborator MG, the band made an explosive debut with the cult classic album Megalodon in 2013. Now with a fully Danish lineup, they are stronger than ever, armed with relentless gutturals, bone-crushing riffs, and sonic brutality.

Afdød rounds out the bill with death metal forged in a dark crypt in Slagelse since 2022. Explosive drums and aggressive riffs are completed by vocals straight from hell. The band recently released their debut EP 'Grotesque Preservation', which features earlier material alongside hints of a more aggressive and focused musical future.
