About "Tracing Echoes" by Gipali Productions
"Tracing Echoes" is a dance duet choreographed and performed by Giorgia Reitani and Paulína Šmatláková. It physically and emotionally explores how the past shapes us today. The work reflects on growing up in the 1990s in countries marked by strong traditional, religious, and political influences, and moving to a new country - raising questions about identity and belonging. With rising nationalism and societal polarization, particularly in countries like Slovakia and Italy, the piece gives voice to the inner conflicts that arise when navigating multiple layers of identity.
About "Crowd Control" by Megaland Teater
With the aim of taking foolishness seriously, the lecture-performance "Crowd Control" observes the formal language of stand-up comedy: its movements, language, and aesthetics. The Tid i Rum process is part of research into expanded comedy formats between dramaturg/scenographer Flux Krämer and actor/director Karoline Holland (Megaland).
