The opening of the "NAÏV: Ukrainian Visions" exhibition

Ukraine House in Denmark presents Denmark's first exhibition of Ukrainian naive art - its history and development throughout the 20th century, including the close connections between Ukrainian avant-garde and folk artists.

Among the featured artists are Polina Raiko, Mariia Prymachenko, Hanna Sobachko-Shostak and Panas Yarmolenko. The exhibition's curators Anna Gudimova and Natalia Gnatiuk will be present at the opening.

The musical part is performed by Hordii Starukh, a Ukrainian singer and sound producer, who revives the sound of the hurdy-gurdy and reinterprets folk music through electronic music.
