Marianna Shirinyan & Andreas Brantelid

Pianist Marianna Shirinyan and cellist Andreas Brantelid join this year's festival as a duo. Both artists rank among the Nordic region's most sought-after classical musicians, known for their intense presence, great virtuosity, and deeply personal interpretations. We look forward to experiencing the unique poetry and dramatic power of their collaboration - this concert will undoubtedly be one of the festival's highlights.

Beethoven, Debussy, and Shostakovich. The four works on the programme explore the duo format as an equal conversation between piano and cello.
