Forfatterspirernes Skriveklub, Vesterbro Library and Cultural Centre, Autumn 2026

Do you love writing stories? Forfatterspirernes Skriveklub is for everyone aged 11-15. You will be taught by professional writers once a week and meet plenty of other young people with the same interest. Author Caroline Ørsum teaches the Vesterbro group. Every Monday, the young writers meet at Vesterbro Library and Cultural Centre. Here we work on fun, exciting and challenging writing tasks while enjoying each other's company. We also read aloud from our texts and give each other feedback - how does the story come across, when do we hit something really well, and where should we try other possibilities in the texts? The autumn season runs from August to the end of November - the first session will be 31 August 2026 and the last session, which includes a closing event, will be 30 November. We meet every Monday 16:30-18:30. Membership is free. There is no teaching during the autumn half-term in week 42. Forfatterspirerne is supported by the Danish Arts Foundation.
