Verdenshøjskolen - KRIATURA Flamenco Festival invites you to a festival day at Turkis Live, where concert, paella, flamenco, the mythical wines from Jerez and community blend together. The day's main event is the concert Rasmus Dissing & Flamencolegenderne - an intense musical meeting between Danish song tradition and some of Spain's greatest flamenco artists. On stage, flamenco's raw energy, rhythms and improvisation meet the Danish song heritage in a concert filled with living cultural tradition.

As an important part of the day, the audience can purchase a shellfish paella prepared with wines from Jerez by Thorbjørn Carl Hjalager - paella chef, sherry expert and folk high school educator. Over the past 10 years, Thorbjørn has prepared food for KRIATURA Flamenco Festival in Jerez de la Frontera and has specialized in the region's distinctive wines and gastronomic traditions. The wines from Jerez give the paella its special character. At the same time, we open the sherry bar before the concert with tastings and sherry drinks that challenge the perception of sherry - the wine often called Europe's most underrated wine.
