Evening Singing at Johan Borups Højskole

Join a cosy evening of communal singing at Johan Borups Højskole. The host, Headmaster Julie Sass, will select five songs from the Højskolesangbogen (folk song collection) and share brief thoughts on why each was chosen - ranging from well-known classics to new favourites you may not have discovered yet. Once we get going, we open the "wish well" - everyone in the room can suggest their own favourites, and the song leader picks from the audience. Pianist Louise Schrøder will accompany beautifully throughout.

You don't need to be able to sing - it's about participating, listening, feeling the atmosphere, and experiencing community. Come as you are. Bring a friend or come alone. Everyone is welcome.

Parking: The school has no parking spaces. There is a car park in BLOX about 5 minutes away. Bicycles can be parked along the canal.
