Open Morning Gathering - with Noah Umur Kanber

On Tuesday, 8 September from 9-10 a.m., Johan Borups Højskole opens its doors at Frederiksholms Kanal 24 as part of the Golden Days festival. The morning gathering is free and open to all.

Artist Noah Umur Kanber gives a talk about his work, which centres on identity, queerness, migration, mythology and institutionalisation - with particular focus on existing in the in-between spaces as a trans person, as 'monstrous', as a minority and as an artist. There is an opportunity to ask questions throughout.

The gathering opens and closes with communal folk singing accompanied by pianist Louise Schrøder at the piano. Coffee and croissants are served from the start.
