Søren Bøtker Lecture: When the Masculine Holds the Space and the Feminine Opens - The Journey Home to Yourself
This lecture explores the personal journey from a life shaped by achievement, responsibility and structure toward a deeper understanding of energy, consciousness and the balance between masculine and feminine within us. Over recent years, it has become clear that many people long for balance but often believe they must choose between the masculine and the feminine. The experience shared here is that it is not about choosing, but about being able to hold both. When the masculine holds the space, the feminine can open. When there is direction, safety can emerge. When there is structure, the intuitive can find room. When we learn to unite these two energies within ourselves, many experience life becoming easier, more honest and more alive.
Today, the speaker works as a clairvoyant, healer, mental trainer and coach, facilitating circles, ceremonies and cacao rituals where consciousness, presence and energy are explored together. The lecture will share experiences from circles and ceremonies where the speaker has often been the only man in the room, and what this has taught about standing in softness, sensing and the unpredictable without losing oneself. It will also explore how, as a man today, there emerges a particular calm and depth when the masculine dares to stand clear and hold the space, allowing the feminine to unfold.
The lecture also addresses why it is not possible to stand strong in oneself without daring to look at what is difficult. To live consciously, we must examine our stories, our patterns and our values. Value clarification has been a decisive part of the speaker's own journey, making it possible to live more in alignment with what feels true. Ultimately, this lecture is not about becoming something else. It is about finding home. Home to yourself. Home to your body. Home to the place where the masculine and the feminine are not opposed.
