Write Together - Free Writing Workshop with Author Ole Ditlev Nielsen
Lokalet "Sun" i stueetagen., Copenhagen · 0 kr.
Two hours of focused writing time using the Pomodoro technique - whether you're starting your book, stuck in the middle, or simply seeking peace, inspiration, and writing company. A brief introduction, shared writing time, and networking. Free, but limited places.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Do you have a book in mind - a novel, a non-fiction work, your life story? Or are you already working on a writing project but stuck, burned out, or looking for peace, focus, and fresh inspiration? This workshop is for you. "Write Together" is for all writers: you starting page one, you in the middle of a manuscript needing new energy, and you with a completely different project seeking concentrated time. Author Ole Ditlev Nielsen opens with a ten-minute talk on the most important lessons from writing more than ten books: how to get started - and how to move forward when stuck. Then we do the only thing that truly works: we write. Two hours using the Pomodoro technique - short, focused writing intervals with brief breaks in between. No readings, no feedback rounds, no pressure. You work on your own project, whether you're on page one or page 100. We finish with time to network with other writers - perhaps your future writing partner, beta reader, or sparring partner is sitting at the next table.
PROGRAMME
15:30 · Welcome and introduction: Getting started - and moving forward.
15:45 · Writing time in Pomodoro intervals (with short breaks).
17:45 · Wrap-up and networking - and a chance to continue the conversation in a cosy setting.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
It's free to participate, but there are limited places, so registration is required - first come, first served. Bring your laptop or notebook and your project, no matter how unfinished. Coffee and refreshments can be purchased at the café on the same floor. We're right by Ørestad Station and Fields, so it's easy to get here by metro, bus, or car. On the day, Ole Ditlev Nielsen's new book "WRITE - how to..." will be available.
