Walking Lecture Tour - Central Jutland

Topas Travel invites you to a free walking lecture - a 5-hour hiking tour through the forests near Ry for anyone considering whether a hiking holiday is right for you. The tour is reserved for participants who have not previously been on a Topas hiking holiday.

Tour leader Finn Svendsen guides the group on a route of approximately 13 km, starting and ending in front of the Lakeside Ry café. The tour takes 5.5-6 hours including breaks and a 20-minute lunch break, starting at 10:00. Along the way, Finn covers equipment, use of trekking poles, difficulty levels and fitness requirements - and provides an introduction to Topas Travel's selection of hiking holidays and group trips. There is plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.

The tour takes place in all weather conditions, so bring practical clothing and footwear, and rain gear if needed. Participants must bring their own provisions - snacks, packed lunch and drinks - as there are no toilets or opportunity to buy food along the way. A small day-hiking backpack is recommended.

Parking is free at the Kvickly Ry car park, 100 m north of the meeting point. Ry Station is 500 m from the starting point. Registration is required as there are limited places available.
