World Premiere: Relations by Lil Lacy with Stenhammar Quartet

Stenhammar Quartet opens the concert with the world premiere of Relations - a new work by Lil Lacy, written specifically for them and performed for the first time at Frederiksberg Festspil. The work is structured in four movements, each exploring something that happens between people: conversation, tension, reflection, and movement.

Pianist Roland Pöntinen then joins the quartet for Gabriel Fauré's Piano Quintet No. 2 in C minor, op. 115 - four movements (Allegro moderato, Allegro vivo, Andante moderato, Allegro molto), where piano and strings meet in close interplay. The concert is recorded by DR P2.
