Workshop - Plant Dyeing with Icelandic Plants at Pakhusstrik 2026

This beginner workshop in plant dyeing is led by Anna Dröfn, a farmer and sheep breeder at Kvíaholt farm in southwest Iceland. Under the name "Kvíkví", she produces plant-dyed wool, and each year she spends many hours in the kitchen dyeing lamb's wool with Icelandic plants.

At the workshop you will learn about Anna's working methods, and then you will dye 100 grams of Icelandic lamb's wool on site. Bring an apron. You will take home the wool as well as alum and plants to continue plant dyeing at home. Duration: 2 hours. Max 10 places.
