Co-Knitting - Textile Co-creations

Textile artists Charlotte Østergaard (Denmark) and Marie Ledendal (Sweden) invite the public to collaborate on Co-Knitting, a shared textile work that grows continuously through open drop-in workshops and contributions visitors add between sessions.

The project uses recycled textiles and simple knitting techniques to explore how craft can bring people, stories, and materials together. You can contribute a few stitches or follow the process over time - no knitting experience required.

Because the project spans both Denmark and Sweden, it creates a framework for artistic exchange across the Øresund region. It is supported by ArtCollab/Teaterhögskolan/Lunds University and the National Bank's Jubilee Fund.
