Thursday Mic: Lost, But Found Again — Lokalhistorisk Bibliotek (i Historiens Hus), Odense

Adam from the Danish National Archives is known to many who follow "Lost Heirs" on DRTV - a programme that has visited Odense several times. At this Thursday Mic, he and city archivist Johnny Wøllekær share stories about discovering hidden histories in the archives' collections.

After the lecture, there will be coffee, tea, and pastries.

About the venue: Lokalhistorisk Bibliotek (i Historiens Hus)

Lokalhistorisk Bibliotek is the local history department of Odense Central Library, housed in Historiens Hus alongside Odense Stadsarkiv. The two institutions share a reading room stocked with books, newspapers, documents, maps and photographs covering the history of Odense and Funen. The building is Skt. Knuds Kloster - a medieval monastery that burned down in 1913 and was rebuilt between 1916 and 1919; it is now a listed building. Lectures, city walks and exhibitions are also held here.
