Lokalhistorisk Bibliotek is the local history department of Odense Central Library, housed in Historiens Hus alongside Odense Stadsarkiv. The two institutions share a reading room stocked with books, newspapers, documents, maps and photographs covering the history of Odense and Funen. The building is Skt. Knuds Kloster - a medieval monastery that burned down in 1913 and was rebuilt between 1916 and 1919; it is now a listed building. Lectures, city walks and exhibitions are also held here.
