Djursland International Jazz Festival 2026

Djursland Jazz Festival takes place 19-20 September 2026 at Havmøllen overlooking Kattegat. Over two days, the festival presents five concerts featuring iconic jazz names, international artists, and emerging talent - all indoor seated concerts.

Saturday 19 September

About the Artists

NORDSØ & THEILL have performed together for several decades - including in ANIMA, Bombay Hotel, Mikkel Nordsø Band, Acoustic Guitars, and Blue Lotus. In September 2024 they released their fourth album, Sea View. Mikkel Nordsø's guitar playing meets Ole Theill's tabla tradition, shaped through more than 30 years of study with master Ishwar Lal Mishra.

DANNY GRISSETT & THE SCANDINAVIAN CONNECTION brings together American pianist Danny Grissett - who over two decades has collaborated with names such as Tom Harrell, Benny Golson, Louis Hayes, Nicholas Payton, and Jackie McLean - with Danish musicians Niels Vincentz, Daniel Franck, and Anders Mogensen. Since 2022, the ensemble has developed a shared musical language rooted in the American hard bop tradition.
