10 Years Later - The Voices Live On: Prince

Thu, 22 Oct 2026 · Fredensborg Bibliotek, Fredensborg →

Description was written before the event

2026 marks 10 years since the world lost Prince, and the occasion is celebrated with an evening featuring the tribute orchestra Purple Parade.

The repertoire spans classics such as Purple Rain, Alphabet St., 1999, Let's Go Crazy, Cream, Raspberry Beret, Little Red Corvette, Kiss and When Doves Cry. Purple Parade has worked meticulously on the sound - from the multi-part vocal harmonies to the energetic instrumental solos. Lead singer Søren Kybelund delivers vocals as close to the original as possible.

About: Purple Parade

Aarhus outfit Purple Parade pays tribute to Prince with a show built on precision - tight vocal harmonies, funky guitar solos and a setlist running from "1999" and "Raspberry Beret" to "Let's Go Crazy". Frontman Søren Kybelund carries the vocal with striking fidelity to the original.

About: Prince

Few artists in rock history have left a mark as deep as Minneapolis-born Prince Rogers Nelson - a one-man band who wrote hits for others yet never sounded like anyone but himself. Purple Rain from 1984 remains his best-known work, but behind it lies a catalogue of more than 40 studio albums ranging from funk and R&B to psychedelic rock.
