British saxophonist and composer Jasmine Myra performs at Stairway in Vanløse on Friday, 25 September 2026 at 19:00, presenting her album Where Light Settles. This is her first visit to Denmark, with two concert dates scheduled - one here at Stairway and another at HUSET. Stairway is located on the first floor of Kulturstationen Vanløse and holds 350 standing guests. The venue opened in September 2020 and takes its name from Van Morrison's song "Vanlose Stairway", written when he lived in the neighbourhood. Tickets cost 150-200 kr.

About the venue: Stairway

Stairway is a municipally run black box venue on the first floor of Kulturstationen Vanløse, with a standing capacity of 350. It opened in September 2020 and takes its name from Van Morrison's song "Vanlose Stairway", written during his time in the neighbourhood in the late 1970s. The programme covers garage rock, indie, electronic music, jazz/improv and experimental sounds from around the world. Kulturstationen Vanløse has temporarily taken over the space for theatre and other events.

Trained at Leeds Conservatoire and signed to Manchester-based Gondwana Records, Jasmine Myra has built her name across three albums that weave spiritual jazz with cinematic strings and atmospheric depth. Her third record, 'Where Light Settles' (May 2026), was recorded live with a 15-piece ensemble and marks her debut as a self-producing artist.
