Jasmine Myra is a British alto saxophonist, composer and bandleader, originally from Leeds and now based in London. Signed to Gondwana Records, she has released three albums - 'Horizons' (2022), 'Rising' (2024) and 'Where Light Settles' (2026) - each building on her reputation as one of the UK's most distinctive voices in contemporary jazz. Her music moves between spiritual jazz, ambient and neoclassical influences, with her alto saxophone at the centre of carefully layered ensemble writing.
Jasmine Myra's third album 'Where Light Settles' was released on May 15, 2026 on Gondwana Records - recorded live over five days in Leeds with a 15-piece ensemble, including strings, harp and flute.
With 'Where Light Settles', Myra debuted as a self-producing artist and arranged for strings for the first time.
Jasmine Myra performed as one of the British artists at the jazzahead! 2026 festival in Bremen on April 23-25.
