BURN BABY BURN is a performance about powerlessness - two people have withdrawn from society and attempt to create their own world in their small apartment. The performance explores how much agency the individual actually has in the bigger picture.

This is the third production by the physical theatre company WERK, playing at Brønshøj Vandtårn on September 26 and 27 at 19:30. The performance contains themes of violence, and some scenes may appear violent - recommended for ages 16+. Ticket price: 72 kr. (including booking fee).

About the venue: Brønshøj Vandtårn

Brønshøj Vandtårn is a listed functionalist water tower from 1928, designed by architect Ib Lunding in reinforced concrete and standing 34 metres tall. It supplied Copenhagen with water until 1999 and has since been converted into a cultural venue. Inside, the ceiling soars more than 20 metres overhead, giving the space a striking reverberation that shapes everything from black metal and poetry to sound art and exhibitions. The tower is run by the cultural centre Pilegården and has no fixed opening hours - the programme determines when the doors are open.
