Anders Grau - Checkout Reckoning

In 'Afregning ved kasse 1' (Checkout Reckoning), Anders Grau takes us into the mind of the consumer - his own included. Inflation is raging, portions are shrinking, and cold cuts are rarely on sale. The show functions as a kind of group therapy for the traumas we inflict on ourselves every time we have to part with our hard-earned money.

Grau is far from a flawless consumer himself. His greatest dramas unfold somewhere between the entrance and the self-checkout, and he probably thinks a bit more about grocery shopping than most people do. The show is free of morals, but offers a range of everyday situations that most people will likely recognize.

Beyond stand-up, Grau has in recent years appeared as an awkward weather presenter on DR2, an irritating mink farmer in the TV series Minkavlerne, and in the entertainment programme Kongens Efterfølger on TV2.
