Comedy Zoo opened in 1993 and moved in 1998 to its current premises in Knabrostræde, formerly home to the art house cinema Delta Bio. Widely regarded as Denmark's first and largest comedy club, it has shaped the development of Danish stand-up over three decades. Shows run five nights a week - open mics, improv, solo shows and club nights featuring three professional comedians - with a portion of the programme in English.
