Friday: Concert with DR Big Band

DR Big Band performs on Friday, 2 October at Kulturhuset Textilen in Herning, led by Japanese conductor Miho Hazama. The concert celebrates Swinging Europe's 30th anniversary and features music from the band's forthcoming album on Edition Records. This is one of four Danish dates for DR Big Band this autumn - following a performance in Sønderborg and preceding two shows in Holbæk. Admission is free. The collaboration between Hazama and DR Big Band has made a strong mark on the international jazz scene, and this evening brings that partnership to the stage in Herning.
