Stig Rossen & Vennerne

Stig & Vennerne Akustisk returns to Skævinge Kro on Friday, October 9, 2026. The project features the remaining members of Bamses Venner - Peter Bødker, Frank Thøgersen, and Allan Nagel - alongside Stig Rossen, who sings Flemming 'Bamse' Jørgensen's greatest hits with respect for the music and the man behind it.

The story began in January 2011, shortly after Flemming's sudden death, when the band invited Stig to a tribute concert at Syvstenhallen in Sæby - a venue where Bamses Venner had played for 32 consecutive years. Stig said yes because he had listened extensively to Flemming's music over many years and regarded Bamses Venner as one of the best bands in Danish popular music. The concert in Sæby went so well that the four decided to continue, and Stig & Vennerne was formed.

In March 2016, they chose to revive the intimate acoustic concert format that Flemming himself preferred in his final years. This means a more stripped-down instrumentation than at large concert halls, giving Flemming's lyrics extra space. Between songs, there are stories and anecdotes that paint a picture of Flemming 'Bamse' Jørgensen as a person.

Doors open at 17:30. At 18:00, a three-course menu is served: smoked beef brisket with porcini mayo, grana, and sourdough roll as starter; roasted young chicken with seasonal vegetables, fried potatoes, and mushroom sauce as main course - dessert can be purchased separately. At 21:00, the band takes the stage. Price for menu and concert: 610 kr. per person plus ticket fee.
