This show is part of UP Comedy Festival 2026. After a year away, Mads Holm returns to UP Festival with his brand new show "Afbudskomiker" - his first appearance here since the award-winning "Hvordan Endte Vi Her".

The show is supposedly about belonging, finding peace, and becoming a better person. It's nonsense, as Mads himself would say: he is still the same pun-obsessed storyteller you may know from YouTube, and he is still furious. Particularly about a society in free fall and the 80% of the Danish population who don't understand the first-in-first-out rule on the metro.

He promises to stand there, smile, and look like a winner - no matter how bad things get.

Age limit: minimum 15 years, ID must be presented. Tickets are refunded only in case of cancellation. Intoxicated guests or guests who disturb the show will be removed without refund.

About the venue: Vartov Store Sal

Store Sal is the centrepiece of the cultural house Vartov near Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen - a listed building that once served as a hospital, where N.F.S. Grundtvig spent his last 33 years as a priest. The 150 m² hall features broad plank floors and large paintings by Arne Haugen Sørensen covering all the walls. The room also holds a grand piano and the lectern "Vintræet" by Anny Christiane Millior Berntsen, who also created the lectern in the Danish Parliament. It hosts lectures, conferences and receptions for up to 150 guests.
