Spirit Mother (US) + Support

Spirit Mother is a heavy rock band from Long Beach, CA, now based in rural Burns, Oregon. Songwriter and guitarist/vocalist Armand Lance writes the music in his ranch loft - between cattle work and mustang training - and the band then gathers in a cabin to develop their repertoire. The sound draws on folk and classical music and is characterized by a heavy, dynamic expression with strings and vocals at the forefront.

The band signed to Heavy Psych Sounds Records while recording their second album "Trails", which came out in autumn 2024. The Heavy Chronicles described it as "the black sheep of the Heavy Psych Sounds Records catalog" with a hybrid sound inspired by both Americana and early 90s shoegaze. The album tour included Desert Fest NYC and Levitation Fest in Austin, TX, as well as European festivals such as Rock Im Wald, Blue Moon, Berg Herzburg and Hoflarm in summer 2025.

The band has since locked themselves in to write, record and self-produce their third studio album - again in the same loft. It comes out on Sound Of Liberation Records on September 4, 2026, followed by European tour dates.
