Creating Economic Sustainability

This workshop is led by designer Stine Mikkelsen, who works at the intersection of craft and design. She has studied at design schools in Denmark and abroad, has run an independent artistic practice since 2017, and offers business and artistic mentoring through De Kreatives Forretning - with a focus on the connection between ambitions, practice, and economics.

The aim is to give you an overview of the economic opportunities in the creative sector and concrete tools to assemble a financing model. You will work with value creation, pricing, and fundraising, and leave with insights into the creative sector's "patchwork economy", templates for pricing your own services and projects, and tools for professional project descriptions, realistic budgets, and fundraising materials.

Participation is free for FAOD members - registration is required as there are limited places. Coffee, tea, and water will be served during the workshop.
