Elin Brimheim Heinesen - Stories and Interpretations of Jens Pauli Heinesen

Singer and composer Elin Brimheim Heinesen visits the literary salon NordOrd at Nordatlantens Brygge to share stories about her father, writer and poet Jens Pauli Heinesen (1932-2011), one of the Faroe Islands' most significant and prolific authors. Accompanied by guitarist Eyðun Mohr Hansen, she performs songs for which she has composed music to her father's poems, and shows photographs from his life throughout the evening.

Elin speaks in Danish; the songs are in Faroese with live translation on screen. The event lasts approximately 90 minutes including a break, and doors open 45 minutes before the start. Seating is unreserved, so arrive early for a good spot.
