Copenhagen Sessions: My Beautiful Decay 1973 - Solo + Winter

Composer and pianist My Beautiful Decay 1973 (Carsten Bo Eriksen) performs his forthcoming album Solo + Winter live - the concert is recorded as part of the album itself, which will later be released digitally.

The music sits at the intersection of piano, synths and electronics, featuring new interpretations of J.S. Bach's Concerto in D Minor, BWV 974 - 2. Adagio and Debussy's Clair de Lune (from Suite Bergamasque). The album explores loneliness, emptiness and longing - and the hope for light and warmth.

The concert is held for a small audience. The project is supported by the William Demant Foundation, Knud Højgaard's Foundation, Aage and Johanne Louis-Hansen's Foundation and Koda Kultur.
