Lecture: Woman Know Yourself, Maria Pinderup Langbak

Naturopath Maria Pinderup Langbak gives a lecture on the cyclical nature of the female body and the fundamental conditions needed to achieve balance across all aspects of life. The starting point is that women are simultaneously subject to hormonal fluctuations - and that hormones, in turn, respond to the internal environment created by physical, psychological, emotional and social influences, by life itself and the perspective with which it is met. This perspective is shaped largely by our deepest beliefs: those that define self-worth and relationships with others.

Maria wants to start a new narrative about the body and sex hormones - a story about how they work for and with us throughout life. Hormones function as a thermostat, signalling early when life is not lived in accordance with biology's fundamental conditions or with who you are at the deepest level. There will be plenty of time for questions.

Maria Langbak is a specialist in general medicine, acupuncturist and naturopath, and runs the private clinic Naturlægen.com in Aarhus. She also writes for Naturli magazine.
