Leon Manson - LA-based musician and Oklahoma-born DIY veteran - brings his project Shaki Tavi to Råhuset with his debut album on Felte, Minor Slip. Behind layers of fuzzed guitars and overdriven drums emerge melodic pop hooks, carried by Manson's rough, harmonized baritone and his taste for unexpected song structures.

The album took shape during a period of burnout, when Manson sat down with a few effects and instruments and asked himself: "What if it could be fun? What if it could be for my own sake?" The music moves within shoegaze, 90s alternative rock, grunge, and dream-pop.

About the venue: Råhuset

Råhuset is a small music venue on Onkel Dannys Plads in the Vesterbro district, housed in the former veterinary inspection building in the Brune Kødby - which is also where the name comes from. Since 2006 it has hosted more than 150 concerts a year, with a focus on alternative music from Denmark and abroad, and it has built a reputation for championing emerging artists and niche genres.
