Shaki Tavi is the project of Leon Manson, a DIY musician from Oklahoma based in Los Angeles. His debut album Minor Slip, released on Felte, layers fuzzy guitars and overdriven drums beneath melodic pop hooks carried by Manson's rough, harmonized baritone. The music draws on shoegaze, 90s alternative rock, grunge and dream-pop.
