Æsken is a children's jazz ensemble from Aarhus, founded in 2015 by Sidsel and Lasse Bech Kiilerich, playing hands-on, participatory jazz for kids and families. The five-piece band won the Danish Music Awards Jazz prize for children's jazz in December 2017. Beyond concerts, they create music-theatre shows and workshops, and have performed at major Danish festivals including Copenhagen Jazz Festival and Riverboat Jazz Festival.
