Dodo Sings Benny Andersen

In 2009, Dodo met Benny Andersen during a Unicef project where they performed together. This led - after many requests - to the album "DodoBennyBossa" in 2011, Dodo's first solo release, where she fell for the humorous dark wit of the Svante verses, which musically fit naturally into the melancholic and jazzy tone of bossa nova.

Since then, alongside her work with Dodo & the Dodos, she has performed a selection of the classic Svante verses from that album. For this evening, she brings Jeppe Holst (guitar) and Jens Rud (bass, percussion) with her.
