Ale Carr is a Swedish string instrumentalist raised in a folk music family, with roots deep in Nordic folk traditions. He plays primarily cittern and is a core member of the trio Dreamers' Circus, which blends Nordic folk music with classical and jazz influences. He is widely regarded as one of Scandinavia's most distinctive voices on the instrument.
