Banned from Utopia is an American band made up of alumni from Frank Zappa's touring ensembles of the 1970s and 80s. Founded in 1994, six months after Zappa's death, the group has kept his music on stage ever since - drawing on a wide range of his catalogue and performing it with the precision and energy of musicians who lived it firsthand.
