Blood Orange is the project of London-born, New York-based musician Dev Hynes (b. 1985), who has released five albums since 2011 blending R&B, soul, post-punk and funk. Beyond his own records, he is widely sought as a producer and songwriter, with credits for Solange, FKA twigs, Lorde and Carly Rae Jepsen among others. His work consistently explores race, queerness and belonging, earning him a reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary indie R&B.
