About

Boris is a Japanese experimental trio from Tokyo, formed in 1992 by drummer Atsuo, guitarist/bassist Takeshi, and guitarist/keyboardist Wata. Spanning drone, sludge, noise, shoegaze, and psychedelic rock - often within a single record - they have released more than 28 studio albums on labels across the world. The band is best known for the monumental double album 'Flood' (2000), the breakthrough record 'Pink' (2005), and a long-running creative partnership with noise artist Merzbow.
