Three days of contemporary composition and sound art at Nørresundby Gl. Rådhus, featuring Danish and international musicians selected from Waves up North's network.
Cæcilia Kvartet is a Danish classical ensemble focused on newly written music and cross-disciplinary collaborations. The group consists of soprano Nina Schmidt-Brewer, oboist Maria Lundbak, guitarist Jesper Sivebæk and percussionist Malte Vendelby, and it grew out of the original Cæcilia Duo. They work closely with contemporary composers in a process-oriented way, commissioning fresh pieces ranging from duo to full quartet scoring.
