About

Carpark North are a Danish electro-rock trio from Copenhagen, made up of Lau Højen (guitar, vocals), Søren Balsner (bass, keyboards) and Morten Thorhauge (drums). Their 2003 self-titled debut went platinum in Denmark on the back of the hit single "Transparent & Glasslike", and they have since built a reputation as one of the country's most enduring rock acts, known for anthems like "Human", "32" and "Shall We Be Grateful". In 2024-25 they released the double album "AIR" in two parts - their first full studio record in nearly eight years.

    Carpark North played a sold-out concert at K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen as part of the celebration of 25 years of music.

    The complete double album "AIR" (part I + II) was released in April 2025 via Universal Music Denmark with 14 songs.

  • 2024-03

    "AIR - Part I" was released on March 14, 2024 via Universal Music A/S with the single "If I Were Your King", which went directly into the Top 10 on the airplay chart.

  • 2024-09

    Carpark North performed at Smukfest in Skanderborg in August 2024 and thus concluded an active festival season.
