About
Claus Hempler is a Danish singer-songwriter who made his debut as frontman of the rock band Fielfraz in 1990, later releasing three English-language solo albums and a collaborative record with Dicte. His switch to Danish on 'Kuffert fuld af mursten' (2019) proved a turning point, earning five-star reviews in GAFFA and Politiken and placing songs like 'Jeg Drømmer Om En Sang' in heavy radio and streaming rotation. He has received two Steppeulven awards, two Carl prizes, the Dan Turèll Medal and the F.P. Jacs Memorial Grant. His follow-up album 'Ordensduks i Ingenmandsland' was released in April 2026 on Columbia/Sony.
