Claus Hempler is a Danish singer-songwriter who first made his name as frontman of the rock band Fielfraz in 1990. After decades of writing and performing in English, he switched to Danish with the 2019 album "Kuffert fuld af mursten", which became a breakthrough and put songs like "Jeg Drømmer Om En Sang" into heavy radio rotation. His 2026 album "Ordensduks i Ingenmandsland" continues in the same vein. He has received two Steppeulven awards and two Carl prizes, among other honours.
