Colin James (born Colin James Munn, August 17, 1964, in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter who broke through in 1988 with a self-titled debut that became the fastest-selling album in Canadian history at the time. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has released 21 studio albums, won eight Juno Awards and 31 Maple Blues Awards, and was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame in 2013. He is equally known for spearheading the 1990s swing revival through his Little Big Band project and for collaborations with artists ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Lucinda Williams.
