Cult Of Fire
Czech black metal band Cult Of Fire takes the stage at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen.
Cult of Fire is a Czech black metal band from Prague, formed in 2010 by Infernal Vlad (Vladimír Pavelka) and Tom Coroner. They are internationally recognised for weaving Hindu and Buddhist ritual into epic black metal - from stage props sourced in India and Nepal to album titles written in Sanskrit. The breakthrough album "मृत्यु का तापसी अनुध्यान" (2013) brought them global attention, and they have since released a string of records on the Beyond Eyes label.
Cult of Fire released the album "The One, Who Is Made of Smoke" in 2025, which has accumulated over 19,000 views on YouTube.
The band performed a China tour in October 2025 with concerts in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Tianjin.
In April 2025, Cult of Fire toured Europe together with The Great Old Ones and Caronte with stops in Munich, Vienna, Krakow and Zagreb, among others.
Cult of Fire performed a commissioned work at Brutal Assault 2024 - a collaboration with Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague as a tribute to Czech composer Bedřich Smetana.
The music for the Brutal Assault show was composed by Vladimír Pavelka and arranged by Martin Šanda for the band and Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague.
