Danfoss Orkestret

About

Danfoss Orkestret is a brass band of around 30 amateur musicians, founded in 1955 at the initiative of Danfoss company founder Mads Clausen. Based in Southern Jutland, the ensemble gives regular free concerts across the region - in Sønderborg, Gråsten and Nordborg among other venues. The players hold amateur status, while conductor Gert Skovlod Hattesen is a professional trumpeter with Prinsens Musikkorps in Skive. The repertoire ranges from marches and musical theatre to larger brass band works.
