Dormant Ordeal are a Polish death metal duo from Kraków, founded in 2005 as a solo project and established as a full band by 2009. The current lineup of guitarist/bassist Maciej Nieścioruk and vocalist Maciej Proficz released their fourth album, 'Tooth and Nail', on Willowtip Records in April 2025. Their music blends technical and blackened death metal with dense atmosphere and intricate songwriting, earning them a strong reputation across the international extreme metal press.
